In January - February 2008 I took a group of six photographers to Oman for a two week photographic tour. This was a great success with very positive feedback from the clients. With this encouragement, I am conducting another tour to the same region 08 - 21 February 2011. Positions on this tour are filling fast and there are now only a few places left.
We operate out of two 4WD vehicles with three photographers per vehicle, plus the drivers who are both photographers.
Accommodation is a mixture of hotels and camping. We do explore some of the usual tourist venues, but put an emphasis on getting off the beaten track and nose the vehicles into the desert to some remote areas, where we will likely meet up with the local Bedouin.
I am also considering photographic tours to the following destinations
Southern Oman
Jordan/Saudi Arabia (with an emphasis on Petra, Madain Salah, and the Hejaz Railway)
Nepal
South Island, New Zealand.
I run half and full day tours out of Christchurch, New Zealand
I can arrange tailor made individual tours to suit your needs.
Tour emphasis is on small numbers, friendliness, and getting off the tourist routes where possible.
